Clay Workshop: Create Your Own Cheese platter with a matching dip bowl
Join me for a fun and creative pottery workshop at the Cricketers Arms Hotel in Cooks Hill, Newcastle! Set in their charming beer garden, this hands-on class will guide you through making your very own cheese and dip platter from clay.
Workshop Details:
- Date & Time: Saturday May 31st, 2-4pm
- Location: Cricketers Arms Hotel, Cooks Hill, Newcastle (Beer Garden)
- Price: $110 per person
- Includes: All materials, tools, and decorative stamps
What You’ll Learn:
- How to roll out clay to form your platter (with size restrictions to prevent cracking)
- Creating a matching dip bowl that sits perfectly on your platter
- Using tools and stamps to add your own unique designs
What Happens Next?
After the workshop, I’ll take your creations home for firing and glazing. This process takes 4-5 weeks, after which you can pick up your finished piece from either the Cricketers Arms Hotel or my studio in the Hunter Valley.
